Amelie Van Hess, Editor-in-Chief
Hi! I’m Amelie, and I’m the Editor-in-Chief for the 2024-2025 school year. I’m from the suburbs of Denver, CO in the United States. I’ve been a member of The NewSLU since 2023, contributing as a staff writer and photographer. I’m in my senior year at SLU-Madrid majoring in communications with a double minor in Spanish and marketing. I love everything regarding the newspaper – it’s been such a fun and creative way for me to interact with SLU-Madrid and Madrid as a city! I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this school year with the newspaper, it’s been fantastic to watch it grow so quickly in such a short period of time!
